- SRK's Son Aryan Khan's Bail rejected and will be in Quarantine Cell for next 3-5 days in Arthur Road Jail.
ARYAN KHAN BAIL REJECTED | The bail application filed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan in the Mumbai narcotics bust case was denied by the magistrate court, who described it as “unmaintainable.” As per Covid policy, Aryan will be held in the quarantine cell at Arthur Road Jail for the next 3-5 days. Aryan Khan’s counsel, Satish Maneshinde, told the magistrate court that the youths deserve the chance to reclaim their freedom. He claims that teenagers are unaware of the link between their behavior now and the consequences they will face tomorrow.
Aryan will be confined in the quarantine cell at Arthur Road Jail for the next 3-5 days, as per Covid protocol. Satish Maneshinde, Aryan Khan’s lawyer, told the magistrate court that the young people deserved a chance to restore their freedom. He says that teenagers are oblivious to the connection between their current behavior and the consequences they will experience in the future.
Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, and the other suspects tested negative for Covid-19 and were deemed medically healthy. They will now be transferred to Arthur Road Prison, where the accused will be transported to court for a bail hearing. NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede had asked the court to keep the suspects at the investigative agency’s Mumbai office because the jail would not admit them without a coronavirus test report. Aryan Khan’s and seven other people arrested in the Mumbai drug bust case have filed a bail application on mother Gauri Khan’s birthday. The plea will most likely be heard at 12:30 p.m. in a magistrate court.
The issue involves the alleged seizure of prohibited substances aboard a Mumbai-bound cruise ship. The court had awarded SRK’s son, his buddy Arbaaz A Merchant, model Munmun Dhamecha, and five others 14-day judicial custody the day before. Meanwhile, NCB officer Sameer Wankhede has been the target of the raids by the Nationalist Congress Party.
After “gathering more data and material to reveal the NCB’s wrongdoings,” Nawab Malik plans to hold a news conference at 12 p.m. today. He had previously published videos of Kiran P Gosavi and Manish Bhanushali entering and exiting the NCB office on the same night as the cruise ship raid.
No Special Treatment for SRK’s Son Aryan Khan in Arthur Road Jail
According to sources, Aryan and the other defendants in the case will be quarantined at Arthur Road Jail, where they will be held in a quarantine cell built inside the jail compartment for three to five days. New prison convicts should be placed in a quarantine cell for three to five days, even if their Covid-19 RT-PCR test is negative, according to jail norms.
Aryan will be held in barrack number 1, the special quarantine barrack on the jail’s first floor. In this barrack, there are only six of them. They haven’t been given any uniforms, as they haven’t been given any during the trials.
Aryan will not receive preferential treatment, according to sources, and he has made no particular requests. He’ll be treated the same as any other detainee.
Aryan and the other accused had previously tested negative for Covid and had been deemed medically healthy. The court had been asked by Sameer Wankhede, zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), to keep the accused at the probe agency’s office in Mumbai because the jail would not allow prisoners without a Covid-19 test report.
