Tuesdays volatile session Indian market sets new life time high after subdued first half. Indian indices after sharp gain in Banking and IT sector benchmark equity indices ended at record high levels on Tuesday. Axis Bank 6% up at close was one of the top gainers followed by HDFC, INDUSIND Bank up 2.7% and TCS up 1.7%.

Along with third nationwide lockdown UK government’s announcement to roll out a new $6.2 billion support package for pandemic affected businesses. Sensex ended today at 48,437.78 – 260.98 points up (0.54%).
