The accident happened around 9:30 PM when the bus was traveling from Kurla to Andheri. As it approached the White House Building on S.G. Barve Road, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The bus first collided with an auto-rickshaw, then went on to hit six more auto-rickshaws, ten two-wheelers, and approximately ten pedestrians before stopping at the Ambedkar Nagar Colony gate.
