IMP Guidelines issued by US: Avoid 2nd Dose on allergic reactions – Covid-19 vaccine
Post approval of two COVID-19 vaccines “Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna”, the US has issue an important guidelines on the allergic reactions from the doses and have asked to avoid 2nd dose if you come across any allergic reaction.
For people having histories of allergies before proceeding with the COVID-19 vaccines must go through the guidelines issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to avoid allergic reactions.
Guideline by US CDC about COVID-19 Vaccines:
- As per the guideline by CDC one must not go for 2nd dose if he come across any allergic reaction.
- Go for a treatment in hospital in case of severe allergic reaction.
- Consult a doctor before getting COVID-19 vaccines (People with allergic history).
- People with severe allergies to food, pets, latex or environmental conditions as well as people with allergies to oral medication or a family history of severe allergic reactions could still get vaccinated.
US is working on 5 different allergic reactions that happened after people getting Pfizer’s Coronavirus vaccine in the US. Thereafter US approved use of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and distribution will began on Saturday. More than 3700 cities will receive this vaccines before Monday.
