According to Sources “MeitY has not granted permission to PUBG/PUBG Mobile India.”

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology due to privacy concerns, PUBG Mobile was banned in India. Previously it was announced that PUBG Mobile will be back soon in fact, PUBG Mobile India enabled a website “https://www.pubgmobile.in” PUBG Mobile India official website. PUBG Mobile Fans were happy after this announcement. But in response to the RTI query, the IT ministry refused the permission to release and clearly mentioned “MeitY has not granted permission to PUBG/PUBG Mobile India.”

IT Ministry is not ready to respond to the news of Krafton Inc. or PUBG Corporation sought permission for a PUBG Mobile India re-launch or any list of agreements.

Few Reasons for PUBG Mobile & PUBG Mobile Lite ban in India are as follow:

  • 1. Apps were prejudicial to the sovereignty, integrity, defense of India, and public order.
  • 2. Accessing or Saving user’s data in an unauthorized manner to servers that possibly had locations outside India.
  • Health issues
  • 3. India Banned 100 + Chinese app which and Tencent being part of PUBG Mobile based in China forced the Government of India to enforce Ban in India.

After receiving approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs PUBG India Private Limited became a registered company in India last month. Which indirectly made clear that PUBG Mobile was about to re-launch in India.
