In a shocking incident, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times during a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, left the actor with serious injuries, including one dangerously close to his spine. Mumbai Police reported that an unidentified intruder broke into Saif Ali Khan’s home at approximately 3:30 am. At the time of the incident, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two sons, Taimur and Jeh, were present but were unharmed.

Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, provided an update on Saif’s condition. He said, “Saif was attacked by an unidentified person in his house. He was brought in at 3:30 am to Lilavati. He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him. He is being treated by neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi. We will know the extent of the damage only after the surgery is completed.”

Statement from Saif-Kareena’s Team

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s team issued their first official statement following the incident. It read:
“There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation.”

Police Investigation

The Mumbai Police have launched an extensive investigation to identify and apprehend the attacker. Several suspects have been detained for questioning, and efforts are underway to gather more evidence. “An unidentified person entered Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. During the scuffle, the actor sustained injuries and is now undergoing treatment. We are conducting a thorough investigation,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dixit Gedam.
