Salman Khan Enhances Security with Bulletproof Glass and High-Tech Surveillance After Threats
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has taken significant steps to enhance security at his residence, Galaxy Apartment, in Mumbai. To ensure the safety of himself and his family, he has installed bulletproof glass on his balcony, the spot where he frequently greets his fans. Alongside this, advanced high-resolution CCTV cameras have been strategically placed around the property to monitor and detect any suspicious activity.
Salman Khan resides on the ground floor of the Galaxy Apartment in a modest 1 BHK flat, while his parents live on the first floor. This iconic residence has been a landmark for fans and a familiar sight in Mumbai.
The decision to ramp up security comes after a series of alarming incidents. On April 14th, two unidentified men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence, causing widespread concern. In a shocking turn of events, just a few months later, in October, Salman Khan’s close friend, former Maharashtra minister and well-known public figure Baba Siddique, was tragically shot dead near his office. The Bishnoi gang, notorious for their involvement in high-profile crimes, claimed responsibility for both the firing at Salman Khan’s home and the murder of Baba Siddique.

Reports revealed that Salman Khan had also received extortion threats demanding ₹2 crore. Additionally, he was asked to visit the Bishnoi Samaj Temple and apologize for the blackbuck poaching incident. The threats further warned that failure to comply would result in consequences similar to the fate of Baba Siddique.
In response to these serious threats, Salman Khan is granted Y+ security cover by the authorities, ensuring round-the-clock protection. Furthermore, in October, the actor imported a bulletproof vehicle worth ₹2 crore from Dubai to enhance his personal safety during travel.
