Salman Khan Receives Death Threat: Pay ₹5 Crore or Face Worse Consequences
Recently, Bollywood actor Salman Khan received death threats following the tragic murder of former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique. Siddique was shot and killed by three attackers on October 12th. The accused individuals are currently in police custody, and reports suggest they are affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Less than 10 days after Siddique’s murder, Salman Khan has been threatened with a demand of ₹5 crore. The threat message warns that if the actor fails to pay this amount, his fate will be worse than that of Baba Siddique. The message also implies that paying ₹5 crore would resolve any enmity between Khan and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, but refusal could result in his murder.
It is believed that Baba Siddique’s close friendship with Salman Khan might have been the motive behind his assassination by the Bishnoi gang. The actor is reportedly still reeling from the shock of losing his dear friend and is now facing the added distress of this life-threatening warning.
The threatening message, which was sent to the Mumbai Police via WhatsApp, explicitly stated that Salman Khan must pay ₹5 crore to end his dispute with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, or his condition would be worse than Siddique’s.
Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the threat and the individuals responsible. In recent months, Khan and his family have faced a series of similar threats. A few months ago, there was even a firing incident at his residence, Galaxy Apartments. Fortunately, those involved were apprehended, but this was followed by the tragic murder of Baba Siddique. In response, the police have upgraded Salman Khan’s security to Y+ category.
