The reality show Bigg Boss 14 has come to an end after four and a half months of entertainment, fights, and romance. The winner of season 14 eventually emerged as Rubina Dilaik, who was considered one of the top candidates to lift the coveted trophy. The actress took home the Bigg Boss 14 trophy and the Rs 36 lakh prize money.
The final night was also attended by Rubina’s husband and former contestant, Abhinav Shukla. They were the last contestants for the show to be finalized.
At Bigg Boss 14, Rubina, who entered the house with her husband Abhinav Shukla, had a roller-coaster ride. Rubina faced several obstacles but never gave up, from being the disqualified contestant at the launch to questioning Bigg Boss in the initial days.
She had a dispute with host Salman Khan over his ‘saaman‘ comment that he made for Rubina’s husband Abhinav, if all this was not all. With that remark, the actress was so hurt that she shared her disillusionment with Bigg Boss and even threatened to quit the show. Abhinav made her understand the situation, however, and she was persuaded to stay.
During her stay, Rubina’s most difficult time was when she revealed secrets about her tumultuous married life with Abhinav. She had also disclosed that they were on the brink of divorce. Their bond, however, grew stronger with time and the two have now agreed to settle for a white wedding after the show.
In all the assignments, Rubina displayed her fighting spirit and gave her best. Throughout her stay, the Shakti actress was very outspoken and never shied away from speaking her mind. She was also criticised for the same thing by fellow contestants and even the host. While few accused her of having a complex of dominance, others such as Nikki Tamboli, Sara Gurpal, Aly Goni lauded her for spreading love.
She became a spectator’s favorite in no time and people loved her for her strength. Even after facing flak from host Salman Khan week after week, the actress did not let her spirit down. She stood on the concrete. Rubina not only accepted her flaws but also worked on them. She was explaining why she deserved to be a champion.
Some wonderful performances by the ex-contestants were seen on the final night and one of them was Rubina and Abhinav’s. They were performing a romantic number.
